As an affiliate marketer it's your job to try and find the best products to promote to your clients. After all, you don't want to be promoting them poor quality stuff that they are going to hate - this just leads to you losing clients and sales in the future! You don't want to be promoting the same product as your competition as it will just make you all several heads of the same hydra. If the product looks to be a strong offering for your clients and has a strong enough commission program it's worth taking that over the weaker product with higher commission.

Whilst you might make more in the short-term if you start promoting bad stuff to your clients they'll go elsewhere! Promote the good stuff, whilst making sure it's quality.

Can Be Marketed Easily

Does it seem like you'll need to invite everyone to an individual weekend seminar just to try and tell them what the product does? Then go somewhere else! Solid affiliate marketing programs are for products that can be summed up in a few sentences. If you find that the program is promoting a product that - whilst useful - is a bit of a hard sell, you might want to look elsewhere.

Is Simple To Obtain

The last thing you want to use is an affiliate marketing program that makes the actual sales process for the client impossible. So long as you are promoting strong products clients will go through a bit of a long-winded sales message. Don't start sending people to products that are loaded with upsells and take longer to actually buy than it does to arrive in the post!
